It was so fun to go to her class and see all the home made costumes! The kids started out by singing songs for us, than we got to go around the room and visit the animals as they stood in their habitats. Each animal had a yellow button you could push and they'd come alive and tell you facts about themselves. After visiting my little chimpanzee and the other animals in her habitat, I walked around the room to learn about the others, I noticed Micah had stayed with Makayla and each time she'd finish her spill he would push her button again and she'd start over. When I made my way around the room and back to her, Micah was still at it, he favored his sisters button, she would finish and than with a push from little brothers fingure she'd start back up with her 3 facts about Chimpanzee's. She was a good sport and did exactly what she was suppose to (some of the animals were "out of order"). Makayla had been so excited for this day to come...it was so fun to be able to go and be a part of it and to see a very crouded room of other supportive parents there, too.

This is just precious. What a great idea. My Darien talked constantly about school and when she can start going. She's only 2 so it will be a little while, but it's adventures like this that she is looking forward to!
So CUTE! Looks like y'all got such a great teacher. You scored!
Zoo day is a darling idea. I love the mask Makayla made. She did a wonderful job. Did she really draw the mouth? WOW!
Also, our darling, obedient Makayla. I can just picture Micah pushing the yellow button over and over.
What a cute class presentation. Only in Utah would all the kids come in a costume too. But that is one cute monkey mask.
