The kids were so excited to go swimming with Grandma!
We went to Draper days, the kids got to do some fun bounce houses, then Grandma got everyone shaved ice and we watch a fun fire works show.

Grandma's in town
Joel's mom came out to help her mother-in-law, so she spent the weekend with us.The kids were so excited to go swimming with Grandma!

Mom does love a good shaved ice. Did she tell you that they wanted to open a "snow shack" down here.
I had SUCH a great time. It was only 2 days but they were packed with fun. Swimming was wonderful. The neighborhood pool is Huge. Makayla and Micah are both practicing bravery skills such as going under water and holding their breath and swimming without floaties (Micah actually likes using 1 floatie...his Mom calls him Nemo).
As for Draper Days! What a crowd. The shaved ice was a thrill. We got huge ones. What a surprise to be told we got to put the syrup on ourselves! Delicious.
The fireworks were a wonderful way to end the day.
